Jeep/Ram Divisional Manager for Farmer Autovillage

What are your top tips for selling genuine accessories?
I’m not sure if I want to give my top tips, then everybody will steal my ideas!
But I can share a few… firstly I always have a hero car of each model fitted with accessories to show how cool they are, as most customers do not have the eye to see what it could be. Luckily Jeep and Ram vehicles carry customisation easily accessories complement those brands.

What are the most common customer objections to genuine accessories and how do you overcome them?
The most common objection is price.
I emphasis the fact that the customer is purchasing a high-end luxury vehicle and most importantly an awesome brand, which needs to be complemented with some difference and a personal touch that shows the customers unique taste.

How do you remember to claim the points on your Ateco accessory sales?
I claim at the end of every month when I claim my commission. It also helps to have something on the Rewards Shop that I’m saving up for, so it’s a good goal to keep selling genuine parts as I complete each sale to keep me on track.

How do you educate your customers about the benefits of the various accessories you sell most of?
Jeep is the number one brand vehicle in the world for genuine parts accessories.
Jeeps in the USA are heavily modified at a customer’s request, so having genuine parts available with amazing quality is a must, to accompany your amazing Jeep vehicle. Ram is very much the same.

What is your most recommended accessory/accessories for popular Jeep/Ram models and why?
Most recommended for the Ram is the Mopar exhaust. I tell customers that they are not allowed to own a Ram without it! It’s got to sound like a Ram right?
We have a reputation to keep and that’s cool. Plus, it’s fun to work with the customer to make their vehicle their own via customisation. Most recommended for Jeep is mudflaps and monsoons directly behind tow bars. Most customers had these standard back in the day, so it’s a great opportunity to upsell!
